Created and presented by Parking Review magazine, the British Parking Awards are an independent competition. The awards recognise the leading examples of car park management, enforcement, design and team work.
Entry Criteria
Traffic Team Award
The Traffic Team Award is a new category recognising the skills and achievements of organisations responsible for implementing traffic and parking schemes such as:

controlled parking zones
-
clean air schemes
-
speed and traffic management schemes
-
TROs
-
parking permit schemes
-
parking payment systems,
-
EV charging provision, etc.
Teams may include planners, engineers, consultants and contractors.
The criteria:
The category is open to local authority and private sector organisations.

The entry should include details of:

Name of team manager
-
Names of key team members and job titles
-
Definition of the team's role within the parking operation/company
-
Copy of team/organisation/company structure
-
Details of staff training undertaken and success obtained (NVQs, MBAs, etc.)

External verification of performance (consultant studies, Investors in People, SIA ratings, etc.)
-
Recognition of the team's work (Internal and external awards, press coverage, customer testimonials, etc.)
The judges are looking for evidence of:

Team leadership

The building of partnerships to deliver results

A commitment to team building and staff development
-
Consistent application of good practice

Outstanding customer service

Excellence as representatives of the parking sector to customers and the wider community.
